Sometime back in 2007 I stumbled onto a local podcast where two guys named Herb and Buxy broke down every Steelers game from a totally unique Beaver County point of view. As I listened to them jump seamlessly from breaking down Big Ben’s passing attack to which barber gave the best buzz cut at Mickey’s up at the mall, I was instantly hooked on Da Burghcast.
Then, after 4 years of awesome podcasts, the guys went on hiatus and we haven’t seen or heard from them since.
Luckily, through the YBC community I was recently able to track down Herb, Buxy and their producer Berny. And after a few intense negotiations, I am proud to announce that we have reached an agreement to make Da Burghcast a weekly fixture here at Your Beaver County.

Herb and Buxy will now be publishing a new episode each week right here on YBC. They’ll be breaking down every Steeler game and along the way they’ll dissect the best parts of Beaver County through their unique (and often hilarious) POV. So buckle up, because it’s going to be a fun ride!
Da Burghcast – Episode 501
In this week’s episode, the guys put together a welcome back party for themselves. They also break down Tom Brady’s marital problems and discuss what first came to mind when they heard about the Steelers signing Deangelo Williams and Mike Vick.
Herb & Buxy also put together a Faygo Pop 6-Pack Countdown of the top six things that have changed in Beaver County since their last episode way back in 2010.
