“These are oysters that have cultured pearls in them. We use the pearls to make the jewelry. Remember Sea World, when they had the mermaid that would dive down in to the tanks? They would get the oyster and come back up and make jewelry. My husband and I both remembered those days and wanted to have something different that would travel to the carnivals and community day festivals, so we revitalized that and have our import license now and we import our own oysters and make our jewelry.”
