Matthias Doutt stokes the fire to make corn fritters for his family at the Maple Syrup Festival. Mathias is a member of the Western Appalachian Living History Society (WAHLS), a local organization focused on community awareness, education, and preservation of the lifestyle of early settlers in our area.
