Fast forward a few years, John gets married to an awesome lady named AmyRenee (AR to her friends) and my love of all things copper jewelry begins. She owns Satorious Designs and the jewelry is gorgeous!
- Local Author Spotlight: Grandma Jeanie Beanie and the Love Names During one of my very often moments of Facebook scrolling, up pops a picture of an adorable kids book under the ‘Suggestion’ category. The book cover looked adorable, so I checked it out in more detail. This book, Grandma Jeanie Beanie and the Love Names, was written by Kathy Bingle, a resident of Beaver! I was able to talk to her and get a copy of her book for the Beaverhausen kids (which they loved, btw). As soon as we read it, I knew that I wanted to write about her and let the YBC readers in on her book too.
- B’Poppin Gourmet Popcorn and Sweet Treats I was recently introduced to few new-to-me local brands by our friends at Battaglia’s. They carry a ton of local goodies. But on this one particular Saturday, as I was waiting on my Boar’s Head deli meat, they had just gotten in the first of their supply of local gourmet popcorn from B'Poppin Gourmet Popcorn and Sweet Treats in New Brighton.
