“My Mom worked at J&L and when she lost her job, we lost our house, with 4 girls, so I know exactly how this feels. We’re all [the volunteers at the fundraiser for the 230 workers locked out at ATI in Midland] from the J&L generation so we remember what it was like when the mills went down and people couldn’t support their families. We don’t want to see that again. That’s why we’re doing this.”
“How can people help the families locked out by ATI?”
“Donate money to the lockout fund [callĀ 724-773-2636]; these workers have been locked out since August 15th. Stop by and show them support. They need to see that the community is still behind them. ”
