A community worship service with a focus on prayers for peace and racial reconciliation in our nation will be held Sunday July 24 as a part of the Chippewa Township Anniversary events at the Wright Sports Complex. Rev. Scott Graham of Cup Evangelical Presbyterian and Rev. Greg Townsell of the Primitive Methodist Church will be leading the worship and prayer time.

“I believe there is a desire in our community for peace and unity, regardless of our background or race”, said Rev. Graham. “A hope found in Jesus Christ provides a foundation a love that can overcome the fear we may be feeling. We’re looking for a simple, practical way to demonstrate that here in Beaver County.”

The worship service is at 10:30 am, close to Field 1 on the complex, located at 3838 37th Street extension.
