245 Rainbow Road Center

I knew that there was a neighborhood of newer homes located right off of East Shaffer Road in Center Township. If you forced me to guess, I probably would have dug deep and guessed that the neighborhood was called East Shaffer Estates.

What I didn’t realize, was that there are some truly unbelievable homes located in this neighborhood that can go toe-to-toe with anything you will find in the Woodhaven or Brookehaven neighborhoods. That part surprised me.

245 Rainbow Drive in East Shaffer Estates absolutely took my breath away. This is the type of house that I would love to call home, except for the fact that it is just a bit outside my price range at the moment. Perhaps in a few more years I will be there, but if you are in that place now and looking for a luxurious home in Center Township, this is the perfect option.

The Numbers

  • Asking Price: $589,900
  • Square Footage: 3,441 square feet
  • Lot Size: 0.59 acres
  • Bedrooms: 5
  • Bathrooms: 4.5

Curb Appeal and Entryway

I would assume that whoever invented the term “curb appeal” was standing in front of this house when they did it, except for the fact that there really isn’t a curb around this cul-de-sac. This house just has a certain “it factor” that makes it feel very warm and inviting. I want to hang out here, so to live here would be amazing.

As you enter through the front door, you can’t help being impressed by the fantastic two-story high ceilings and the absolutely gorgeous mahogany hardwood floors. If it sounds like I am using more over-the-top adjectives than usual, that is because this house deserves them.

Off to one side of the entryway is a formal dining room that is completely open to the foyer except for a few white pillars. On the other side is one of the biggest selling points for me: a private study.

This little study area has the perfect touches like a vaulted ceiling, big window, and french doors to make it feel like the best place in Beaver County to get your computer work done. As someone who does an awful lot of computer work, I would be completely at home in this workspace.

Living Room & Kitchen

Continuing through to the back of the first floor, we find even more impressive features in the living room and kitchen. The living room offers an awesome white fireplace and a very elegant staircase with a balcony at the top overlooking the living room.

The kitchen contains all of the features that you might be looking for. There are granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. I particularly like the way the island is set up with the sink in it right next to a higher counter with barstool seating. There is also a casual dining space in the kitchen.

Heading Upstairs

Moving upstairs, we find that this house has absolutely no shortage of bedrooms. Of course, the most important bedroom is the master suit, which certainly does not suffer from a lack of space. The master bedroom is huge in size and features an great two-step ceiling. The master bathroom is also large and it features beautiful tile work around the jet tub and double-headed shower.

Other Killer Features

As if you weren’t sold already at this point, the house also contains a fully finished apartment in the basement complete with a second full kitchen. There is also a great deck off the kitchen overtop of a patio area off of the basement. On top of all of that, the home also features a whole house audio system.

After your first glance at 245 Rainbow Road, it is obvious that this is a fantastically nice home that has been kept in immaculate condition. However, what really intrigues me is that the more you explore the home, the more you find that it was built with an outstanding amount of attention to ever single little detail. That is what makes this my new favorite house in all of Beaver County.
