The Laughlin Memorial Library located in Ambridge is one of eleven libraries located in Beaver County. It was established by Alexander Laughlin, Sr., founder of Ambridge’s Central Tube Company, and dedicated to his son in 1929. Today the library is home to thousands of books for the public to enjoy as well as an elegant interior design that creates a peaceful reading atmosphere. Laughlin Memorial Library hosts an array of events for all ages all year-round. This week they have their weekly Tuesday night Needlecraft Group meeting from 4-6 pm, their weekly Wednesday Anime Club meeting, and a fun celebration of Dr. Seuss’ Birthday on Saturday March, 4th from 1-2 pm.
