Beaver County’s Biggest Car Cruise is back this Saturday from 3 pm to 9 pm! This is one of the biggest local events of the entire summer, so you aren’t going to want to miss it!

Check out this awesome footage of last year’s cruise, courtesy of Chris Palmer!

Last year, Allie put together this collection that is basically a guide to everything you’d want to know while spending the evening in Beaver!

Where To Eat

Obviously this is a little later in the day, so you’ll be looking for a late lunch, dinner, or evening snack!

Food trucks are always a great way to go. Grab a stromboli, gyro or Philly steak and DON’T forget the fresh squeezed lemonade!

But if you want to opt for a little indoor dining to beat the heat, you can’t go wrong with any of the following:

Mario’s: Whether you want a delicious, authentic Italian-style pizza or a full meal, you can’t go wrong stopping by Mario’s.

Yama: Get yourself some sushi that you can chomp on while you walk up and down the cruise lanes.

Biba: Small plates or large plates, you can’t go wrong with any of their Latin American cuisine.

Philly Originals: Because who doesn’t love a good steak sandwich? Is that even a question?

Heirloom: Make sure you try out one of their amazing steak salads or Reuben sandwiches!

BeauCo Bistro: Burgers galore and all kinds of fun things await you further down the street at BeauCo.

Bert’s: A bit of a farther walk, but totally worth it. Get yourself some chipped ham or a fish sandwich. And don’t forget the milkshake!

What To Do

There are so many shops in downtown Beaver where I could get lost for hours. While you’ll still be spending most of your day soaking up the sun that finally decided to show up at the end of summer, you might want to duck in a store or two and get a blast of A/C in your face.

Here are some of my favorite suggestions:

For the Kids

Sweets: Cool off with a treat from Witch Flavor or Sincerely Yogurt. Or get yourself a few cookies at Kretchmar’s.

Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop: Do you think you can handle pumping the kids full of sugar?  If so, check out Grandpa Joe’s!!

Castle Toys & Games: If you have some little ones who need to get out of the heat as well, let them run wild here for a few and pick out some toys to take home.

For the Big Kids

Grab a coffee from Café Kolache or Starbucks to sip as you mosey through the lineup.

Do some window shopping at Allan or Sieger’s Jewelers, or drag your hubs inside and make him buy you something sparkly.

Grab some gifts or a few things for yourself at The Shirley Shoppe, Two River’s Olive Oil, or the Hostess Gift Shoppe.

Regardless of what you’re into, bringing the whole family down to the Hot Summer Nights Car Cruise will not disappoint. Even if you don’t have a classic car, it’s such a great way to enjoy the sun and some great company. Hope to see you there!

I’ll be the one sweating and dragging a toddler down the street while we both house some Death By Chocolate from Witch Flavor.
