POBC Haven't Broken Anything Yet

“I’m 19 now, and I’ve been skating since I was 12. It’s fun, because I never played high school sports or anything. I look at it as a sport, you know? It’s definitely athletic.”

“Ever gotten hurt?”

[Laughs] “Yeah… mostly my ankles but I haven’t broken anything yet — some of my friends have.”

“Can you do tricks and all that?”
“Yeah. You can come watch. It’s a lot of fun.”

(If you skate or enjoy watching people who can, check out the skate park at Brady’s Run Park!)

Erin Ninehouser loves photography for its ability to reveal truths and insights that are often too difficult to capture with words. She believes, as Garrison Keillor says through his troubled yet triumphant character Barbara in Pontoon, that “the only sermon that counts is the one formed by our actions.” A native of New Castle, Erin has made her home in Ambridge where she lives happily with her wonderful husband Dave, their three adorable and hilarious cats, and their “old gentleman” dog, Max.
