New Year's Eve 2015

Since New Year’s Eve is typically presented as a “party all night” type of holiday, many families are left looking for something to do on January 31. One great option is to visit the Harmony Museum’s “Silvester Celebration,” which is a German New Year’s Eve party at the museum.

Harmony was originally founded by a group of German settlers, so in keeping with that heritage, this event is conducted on German time. That means that midnight of the new year is actually at 6:00 pm Beaver County time, making this a great way for young children to participate in the countdown to the new year without having to stay up late!

The event will feature a 5K Run/Walk, a popular German New Year’s Eve comedy film, a pork and sauerkraut dinner, music, a ball dropping ceremony, and a spectacle of fireworks to ring in the new year (at 6:00 pm)!
