grand valley inn

Every time I eat at The Grand Valley Inn I find myself asking why I don’t remember to eat there more often. It’s located just down there road from Brady’s Run Park on Route 51 in Fallston, not far from my house, and the menu offers some of the best fine dining cuisine in all of Beaver County.

What I really like about The Grand Valley Inn is the fact that I can stop in for lunch wearing my work clothes and not feel out-of-place like I do in so many other nicer restaurants. While it is still a very classy restaurant, The Grand Valley Inn does a good job of not crossing the line into stuffy restaurant territory.

The Menu

The menu at The Grand Valley Inn features the perfect combination of salads, steaks, and seafood. Their salads are some of the best in the county with whatever protein you choose served over a bed of spring mix and veggies that just happens to include some miniature baked potatoes. Their herbal vinaigrette dressing is fantastic. At a price point of only $11, their steak salad might be the best value for a high-end lunch anywhere!

If salad is a little light for your stomach, you can’t go wrong ordering steaks or seafood here. They are probably best known for their Filet entrees, their Salmon entrees, and their Maryland Style Crab Cakes. Petit Filet Oscar is my go-to for dinner, but I am also a sucker for the Pan Seared Salmon Two Ways.

If you are like my wife and avoid beef and seafood, that’s not a problem either as there are plenty of chicken dishes to choose from as well. With options like Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Piccata, Chicken Romano, and Chicken Marsala, there really is something for everyone.

While it can be hard to visit without ordering a great steak or seafood dish, I have been dabbling in the Rustic Flatbread section of their lunch menu lately and have been extremely impressed. I’m not a person who generally orders a Margherita Flatbread, but I was shocked at how delicious it was. The Grilled Steak & Cheese Flatbread is also excellent.

Private Parties & Rooms

If you are looking for a great place to have a small party, shower, or rehearsal dinner, The Grand Valley Inn’s private dining room is an awesome place to host your event. They are really flexible with whatever you might need from them and offer specialty menus for such occasions.

If you are coming in from out of town, or just looking for a romantic night away from home, you might also want to consider staying in one of their two rooms for rent upstairs. Each room has the feel of staying in an elegant bed and breakfast and can provide a unique alternative to staying in one of the big name hotels.

The best way to sum up The Grand Valley Inn is that they provide an incredibly flexible and casual first-class dining experience. When it comes to mouth watering food in Beaver County, this place is definitely near the top of the list! If you aren’t dining here regularly, you are missing out!
