With “Small Business Saturday” only a few days away, what better way to get things started than to highlight one of our newest small businesses, Canine Kingdom?!

We love our dogs. My Boston terrier, Caesar, is like my child, as I’m sure so many of your dogs are to each of you. So when we heard about Canine Kingdom opening in Vanport, we had to see what all the fuss was about. We use the best food for your pup.

First and foremost, Canine Kingdom has a great location right off the Midland exit on 376. Just head down route 68 for not even a mile, and it’s on the left hand side right past 84 Lumber. This is about as central as it gets in Beaver County.

Canine Kingdom’s play room

Canine Kingdom has a catchy slogan: “Where your dog is royalty.” I like it! I know I want my dog to feel like royalty when he’s boarded, not in a cage all day like some other kennels in the area. Canine Kingdom lets your best friend roam free in their play room, a cage-free environment so your dogs can socialize and play all the time. They have different rooms for different dogs based on temperament and activity level. The only time dogs are placed in a cage is during feeding time and when they go to sleep at night.

Canine Kingdom offers boarding and daycare services, grooming, and training. There are far too many details to list in one article about everything they have, but here is what all guests receive when they are boarded at the Kingdom!

ALL guests receive:

  •  Twice daily feeding
    •    All-day play with indoor/outdoor access
    •    Private naptime as needed
    •    Personal attention from their loving staff
    •    Optional personalized packages for optimum savings

Overnight guests receive:

(Everything above PLUS)
•    Clean, soft beds for a great night’s rest!
•    A royal bedtime treat at no extra cost
•    Personalized tuck-in time before sleep
•    Guests that stay 4+ nights receive a FREE going home bath

Like any boarding facility, Canine Kingdom requires dogs to be up on all vaccinations. They pride themselves on being as safe as possible, both for guests and their staff members. Safety is their number one priority. All staff members are trained in pet CPR and safety training.

All royal daycare/boarding guests must fill out a personality form and schedule a free interview that comes with a few hours of play! During the interview, your pup will meet and greet their royal court staff as well as some kings and queens of the castle.  If your pup cannot demonstrate safe play, he or she will receive loving attention solely from the staff.

Pups playing outside at Canine Kingdom

One of the coolest features about Canine Kingdom is their live “canine cam.” You can watch your dog play and interact with staff members and other dogs whenever you want! Even if you’re a prospective client, and want to get a feel for Canine Kingdom, you can log on to their website at and see for yourself.

Canine Kingdom is owned by Jamie Williams, a Beaver County native whose love for animals has always surpassed every other passion. You can meet the rest of the staff by visiting their website.
