I can remember when they started building big beautiful houses in “the new part of Woodhaven” back when I was a kid. I was amazed that these “mansions” even existed, much less contained people that I might actually know. It seemed like a whole other world.
Fast forward something like 25 years, and those same homes contain a lot of memories of hanging out with friends throughout high school and college. To this day, Radcliff Drive contains some of my favorite homes in all of Beaver County. When my wife and I talk about eventually moving away from the river in favor of a bigger yard and a garage, Radcliff Drive is always at the top of the list.
The Best Bargain on Radcliff
Of course, the big problem with the idea of moving to Radcliff is that everyone else thinks that these homes are spectacular too. That means they go for some serious money, if and when they go. There aren’t a whole lot of for sale signs in this area because the people who live here tend to stick around for a long time.
The home for sale at 129 Radcliff offers both the ability to get into one of the most popular neighborhoods in Center Township, and to do it at a price point that is well below the neighborhood average.
- Asking Price: $249,900
- Square Footage: 1,856 square feet
- Bedrooms: 4
- Bathrooms: 2.5
- Garage: 2 Car
This House Looks Like Home
One of the things that I really like about this particular house is that, to me, it just looks like home. Perhaps that’s because it is built with a floor plan that is similar to the house I grew up in, but I also love the look of the front porch and could see myself grilling on the back deck. I also like the way the eating area in the kitchen leads right out onto the back deck.
Another huge selling point for this house is that it contains four bedrooms. I can already imagine one of those serving as a great home office.
For The Guys
In reading through the online sales information for this house, I noticed that the shed out back has electric run to it. I’m not exactly sure what the basement looks like, but when you combine the two-car garage and the potential basement with a shed that has power, there are a lot of things to get excited about for a guy with a big collection of power tools.
If you are looking for a way to get your family into one of the best (and one of my favorite) neighborhoods in Beaver County, 129 Radcliff Drive gives you the rare ability to do exactly that at a surprisingly reasonable price compared to many other homes in the same neighborhood.
