  • Towne Square Restaurant: Great People, Pies, & Prices! Our son loves to eat out, so after facing his fears at the dentist, I wanted to treat him for lunch in downtown Beaver. We parked along 3rd Street, and walked a block to one of my favorite Beaver County eateries: Towne Square Restaurant. I’ve been so impressed with the perfect combination of delicious, affordable comfort food and friendly atmosphere that I knew I had to share this gem with our YBC readers.

  • Science Tots: STEM Learning for Little Ones Ice cream is my #1 weakness. This morning, Erica Peterson taught my son and I (and several other excited kiddos) how to make it. It was messy, it was fun, and it was DELICIOUS! We were laughing as we were learning – that’s how it should be!

  • Sims Bowling Lanes: Active, Family Fun! Until last Saturday, I hadn’t set foot in a bowling alley in over a decade. In the name of YBC, my family of 3 hopped in the car and took a drive up Rt. 18, just past the PA Turnpike interchange for a fun-filled evening of strikes, spares, splits…and yes, some gutter balls. We all had a blast, but what was the most magical was watching our 5-year-old son experience the game for the first time!
