  • I’d Rather See the Kids Here Than on the Street “Because of Tiger Pause, the kids are a lot more responsible, respectful, and they understand the value of working. You know, what it takes to work and they realize that they have to earn money in order to afford what they want. I’d rather see the kids here than on the street.” Brianne Kovacs Brianne […]

  • I’m Just Being Myself “I’m just living life to the fullest. You know, just being myself. I’ve been in the newspaper probably 20 or so times. I’ve had thousands of photos taken of me. I used to have a 3.5 foot mohawk. I get a lot of people that look up to me, but I also get a lot […]

  • I Absolutely Love Zumba “I absolutely love Zumba because not only is it a work out but it’s also a party. The best thing about Zumba is that you can fell free. It doesn’t matter what size you are, what shape you’re in, you’re able to come out and just feel yourself and be yourself.” Brianne Kovacs Brianne is […]

  • I Hope That Kids Understand “I hope that kids understand the animals better in that they aren’t afraid of them, they have respect for them, and hopefully they don’t think of them as pets. The problem is, once again, when people watch television shows they have this extreme view of animals. Either that they’re a Hollywood villain or a Disney […]

  • It Was Really Fun to Play “It was really fun to play [kickball] downtown, cause I’ve never really been that far downtown before. It was cool to see more of the community and later on during the tournament some of our community partners came down and played with us. So it was cool to make relationships there.” Brianne Kovacs Brianne is […]

  • You Can See the Difference “The gardens have brought the community together. You can see the difference it has just made in our neighborhood already just by having one garden. We have children everyday in the garden learning what plants are. Cause actually some kids didn’t even know what plants were. It was quite interesting to see them and interact […]
