I recently purchased this awesome house in downtown Monaca. After quite a bit of painting, cleaning, and some big improvements to the upstairs bathroom, it is officially ready to meet its new tenants!
There are a total of four bedrooms and one or two bathrooms (depending on whether or not you want to count the one in the basement). Some of the big perks here include a great front porch, back deck, fenced in backyard, and a single car garage.
If you are a big front porch person, you will absolutely love this one! And there are no neighbros to worry about across the street because that is the old CJ Mangin Elementary School building that is now just a community building.
The front door opens into a large living room complete with fireplace and build-in storage cabinets.
Here is the view from the other side of the living room. As you can see, the steps are just to the right of the front door. But before we head up there, let’s check out the rest of the first floor.
This large dining room has great hardwood floors and would also make an excellent office area or play room if you aren’t into the whole formal dining thing.
Here’s the view from the other side of the dining room. You can see the storage closet in the corner of the dining room. Through the doorway on the left is where you will find the kitchen and the doorway down to the basement.
The kitchen is larger than most of the ones you will find in Monaca, and the cabinets are in great shape.
Heading downstairs, you can see that the basement is both clean and dry…a big bonus for this area. There is tons of storage space down here!
Another great feature is this raised concrete platform for your washer and dryer with all the hookups ready to go.
Right outside the back door off the kitchen you will find an awesome deck and fenced in backyard. Oh yeah, and that’s your single-car garage over to the right.
Between the deck and the little patio to the right of it, this will be a really fun backyard to hangout in. And that central air conditioner over there is in good working condition.
The garage is both clean and solidly build. Another huge perk that isn’t typical for Monaca.
Moving back inside and heading up the steps, one of the most unique features of this house is this interesting little deck off of the landing halfway up the steps.
When you reach the top of the steps, you will see a hallway that leads to the bathroom, as well as all four bedrooms.
This front bedroom has multiple closets, as well as a large closet/storage structure.
This is the other front bedroom.
This back bedroom is the largest of the four bedrooms.
