They say that the three most important things in real estate are location, location, location.
That has certainly been true of the places that I have lived throughout my life. My parents build a big house in Center Township because it was located close to a good school. Then I bought an older house in downtown Monaca because it was located right on the river.
When it comes to Potter Township, I’m not sure there is a better location in all of Beaver County. It is close enough to everything that you might need access to, but at the same time far enough away from all of the things you don’t want to be bothered with. It also happens to be one of the very few places that my wife and I both agree we would like to live.
While it may not be the beautiful new home in Yellow Gate Estates that my wife has been dreaming about, 107 Mowry Road in Potter Township is a home that we could make happen sooner rather than later!
- Address: 107 Mowry Road, Potter Township

The thing about this house that really caught my eye is the fact that it looks GREAT from the street. The brick first story combined with the light blue siding on the second story and the dark red shudders give this home the feeling that the typical American family lives here happily.
That might be a bunch of nonsense, but this home really does feel like the perfect place to start raising a family. Standing on the street in front of the house, you can almost see the kids playing with chalk or riding bikes in the driveway.
When you venture into this All-American home, you find that it does a great job of maximizing every inch of its 1,352 square feet. The first floor flows right from the living room into the dining area of the kitchen and then wraps around to the rest of the kitchen.
The finished basement also plays a key role in getting the most out of the available space. This will be the place where friends and family congregate for Steelers Sundays.
The Back Yard
It’s probably obvious by now that I’m a sucker for back yards. That’s why I bought my house, and I point out the backdoor living possibilities on just about every house that I write about. This one is no different.
The back yard here features a great patio that is accompanied by a pond. There is also a shed that would be great for storage. Because of the way that these lots on Mowry are situated, the back yard is extremely long, leaving plenty of room between the house and Route 18.
There probably aren’t very many people who would describe 107 Mowry Road as their dream home, but if you are looking for a solid home for a reasonable price that would make a great place to raise your family while you are working towards that dream home, this is a perfect option.
